FRACKVILLE, PA (March 14) – It’s no wonder Traxxas T-Maxx™ driver John Seasock is leading the United States Hot Rod Association’s Fan Choice Award balloting considering how often he appears on television.
Seasock, who received almost one-third of the votes cast by Monster Jam® fans during the first week of the poll, is scheduled to be the subject of an upcoming “Great Outdoors” show on WNEP-TV 16, the ABC affiliate in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Seasock will also be featured on an episode of the “Wildboyz” scheduled to air on MTV later this month. The SPEED Channel also airs USHRA Monster Jam events in which Seasock and the T-Maxx compete.
“Bob Eye, who hosts the show, contacted us earlier this week,” Seasock said Friday. “He wants to come out to our home to tape an episode of the show with my sons, J.R. and Kyle, and me on Tuesday. The show covers motorcycles, sky-diving, hunting, fishing – anything to do with the outdoors. They also plan to come out and film some of the Monster Jam in Wilkes-Barre next weekend.”
Seasock, who won races during the University Park, PA, Thunder Nationals and the Monster Jam in Roanoke, VA, on successive weekends in February, will compete against Grave Digger®, Safe Auto Minimizer®, Eradicator®, Sudden Impact® and American Guardian® in the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre next weekend.
WNEP-TV 16 is the highest-ranking television station in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton market, the 52nd-largest among 210 markets in the United States. The market is the regional hub of a three-state metropolitan area comprised of five major highway systems that bring Philadelphia, Allentown, Reading, Harrisburg, Lewisburg, Stroudsburg, New York City, New Jersey and Upstate New York into the region.
More information about the T-Maxx monster truck and the Ready-To-Race® radio-controlled T-Maxx can be found on the Traxxas web site, located at www.Traxxas.com.
