LIMA, OH (May 9) – The T-Maxx is coming! The T-Maxx is coming! Head to the Allen County Fairgrounds this weekend to see John Seasock and Traxxas’ world-famous monster truck compete in the 20th Annual Advance Auto Parts Spring 4-Wheel Jamboree.

Yes, the full-size replica of Traxxas’ award-winning 1/10-scale, radio-controlled monster truck will be back in action Friday, Saturday and Sunday in another Special Events Performance Series event.

“It’s a great event and a really nice facility,” Seasock said. “They get about 2,000 show trucks and 35,000 spectators. It’s a really good weekend and we’re really excited. It’s three full days of family events and there’s something there for everybody. We’re going to compete in racing and freestyle competition.

“We have the T-Maxx ready. Mike (Hoy, the team’s crew chief) has been working hard all week. We’re going to have a blast. There’s a good lineup of trucks, and ESPN2 and The Outdoor Channel will be there filming. Bigfoot®, Raminator®, Rammunition®, Nitemare®, Avenger®, Black Stallion®, Big Dawg® and Monster Patrol® will be there. It’s a top-notch field, and we just want to be the biggest and fastest. When you get a good field like this together in front of that many enthusiastic fans, you never know what you’re going to see.”

Seasock also said in addition to the Dodge Monster Truck competition, the Mickey Thompson Tough Trucks will feature side-by-side racing, there will be six classes of NMRO Mud Drags and hundreds of show-n-shine trucks will be on display.

The Outdoor Channel will record a half-hour episode from the Advance Auto Parts 4-Wheel Spring Jamboree for its “World of Trucks” Series, which will air this fall. RTM Productions is also sending a crew to film feature stories for Spike TV’s new series “Xtreme 4x4.”

Following the Advance Auto Parts 4-Wheel Jamboree, the United States Hot Rod Association’s Fan Choice Award winner will drive the T-Maxx in the Summer Heat Monster Jam at Ocala Speedway in Ocala, FL, May 20-22.
