T-Maxx Makes HUGE Impression at Bow Fair

Bow FairKEMPTON, PA (July 25) – The Traxxas T-Maxx™ was a big hit at Weaknecht Archery’s 15th Annual Bow Fair last weekend.

The Bow Fair is dedicated to archery, archery hunting, and the outdoors, but Traxxas’ larger-than-life-size replica of the world’s premier R/C monster truck made a gigantic impression at the Kempton Community Fairgrounds. That’s not surprising, considering the 10,000-pound monster truck is 12 feet tall and 12 feet wide, is equipped with a 540-cubic-inch blown, methanol-injected engine that generates 1500-plus horsepower and crushes everything in its path with its 66-inch tall tires.

“The Bow Fair was great,” United States Hot Rod Association Fan Choice Award winner John Seasock said. “We had a really good time. Everybody loved the T-Maxx. We bent the wheelie bar up pretty good when we won the Wheelie Contest last Sunday at the Southern Monster Truck Showdown in Amite, LA. We hadn’t had a chance to make a new one before we went to the Bow Fair, so we still had it on the truck. Everybody loved looking at it. They really liked how it was tweaked and twisted. The Bow Fair was a really good time, and we enjoyed signing autographs and meeting plenty of new T-Maxx fans. It was a great family weekend.”

Seasock, who has supported the Drug Awareness Resistance Program for many years, displayed the T-Maxx during D.A.R.E. Day 5 in North Bergen, NJ, in early June. He also exhibited Traxxas’ gigantic monster truck at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans before the USHRA Monster Jam at the Louisiana Superdome in mid-January.

Traxxas, the leader in Ready-To-Race® radio-control models, has broken new ground by bursting into the earth-shaking world of monster truck racing this year. Thousands of proud T-Maxx owners now have the opportunity to cheer the massive, full-size version of the world’s #1-selling four-wheel-drive R/C monster truck to victory.

Seasock will drive the Traxxas T-Maxx in Saturday’s Monster Mania Showdown at Buck Motorsports Park in Quarryville, PA.
