T-Maxx to Compete in Motorsports Spectacular
ENGLISHTOWN, NJ (September 13) – Gear up for the T-Maxx, New Jersey monster truck fans! The larger-than-life-size replica of Traxxas’ #1-selling R/C monster truck is on its way back to the Garden State.
Yes, USHRA Fan Choice Award winner John Seasock is poised to drive the T-Maxx in Saturday’s 29th Annual U.S. Diesel Truckin' Nationals and Motorsports Spectacular at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park.
In two other visits to Old Bridge Township Raceway Park this summer, Seasock reached the finals of the Summer Motorsports Spectacular July 13th and finished second in the freestyle competition at the All-American Jet Car Nationals and Monster Truck Madness event August 3rd.
The Diesel Truckin’ Nationals and Motorsports Spectacular is the United States’ largest single-day diesel event, featuring more than 1,500 diesel trucks in show and race competition.
“The Diesel Nationals and Motorsports Spectacular is a great event,” Seasock said. “We’ll have a blast. It’s a really nice facility, and the fans there are really enthusiastic.
“The T-Maxx is ready. We’re going to wash it again so it looks sharp, then we’ll check, double-check and triple-check everything. We want to make sure everything is good and tight so I can show how awesome the T-Maxx can perform.”
Seasock and the T-Maxx will compete against Grave Digger, Maximum Destruction and five other car-crushing monster trucks.
“There will be a lot of great trucks there, but it doesn’t matter to me who we race against,” Seasock said. “I’m going to take them one at a time and give it my best every time we take the T-Maxx out. We’re going to let it all hang out.”
While the Diesel Nationals is an all-day event, the Motorsports Spectacular in which the monster trucks will compete begins at 7pm. If rain forces a postponement, the event will be run Sunday. The $25 adult admission includes pit admission. Tickets for children 6-11 cost $5, and children less than six years of age will be admitted free.
