SEDALIA, MISSOURI (June 17, 2006) The Traxxas® T-Maxx team battled it out in the sloppy mud in Sedalia, Missouri, for the Checkered Flag Production’s Monster Truck Summer Nationals event. Guest driver Bruce Haney piloted T-Maxx against a tough field of trucks including Sudden Impact, Martial Law, Bear Foot, and Big Foot.
The action started Saturday night as a monster mud bog due to the continued down pour. The slick mud leveled the playing field because it provided little to no traction for anyone. Luck wasn’t on the side of the Traxxas T-Maxx in the thick mud. The T-Maxx team gave it their all, but came up short of the finals.
Freestyle was next and Traxxas T-Maxx fans came to their feet as Haney moved the truck out onto the track. T-Maxx gave the crowd what they came to see, some high flyin’, car crushin’, mud sligin’, monster truck action! Needless to say, the fans were extremely pleased with the all-out, full-power freestyle in the mud. Haney maneuvered T-Maxx into several impressive donuts and wheelies followed by a gravity defying leap over a gigantic bus!
T-Maxx will be in Garden City, Kansas, on June 30th and July 1st for another round of the Monster Truck Summer Nationals.
