TRENTON, NEW JERSEY (January 6, 2007) – The Traxxas T-Maxx rolled into the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey, to take part in the Checkered Flag Productions Monster Truck Winter Nationals. Sudden Impact, Bigfoot, Viper, and Shockwave were on hand to battle-it-out against T-Maxx. On Friday night the action started with T-Maxx marching all the way to the final round in racing to defeat Bigfoot in a photo finish race. Freestyle was the last event and everyone gave it their all. T-Maxx had a good run getting monstrous wheelies, big air, and some good donuts on the dirt track. In the end, T-Maxx came close to the win, but Jon Zimmer in Sudden Impact walked away with the freestyle victory.
On Saturday, T-Maxx was back and looking better than ever at the 2pm show. Sean Duhon drove T-Maxx to another racing win over Bigfoot and continued his winning ways by taking a well deserved freestyle win, scoring a perfect 30 points! The fans awarded T-Maxx the freestyle trophy after pulling off an amazing set of cyclones on the tight track.
On Saturday night T-Maxx came back for more. Once again it was a clean sweep in route to the finals where T-Maxx drew another showdown against Dave Harkey in Bigfoot. The trucks lined up and the flag dropped. T-Maxx blasted off the starting line, went up and over the first dirt hill, into the second dirt mound, and over the finish line to take the win for the 3rd show in a row! T-Maxx took home the hat trick, going 3 for 3 in racing! In freestyle, T-Maxx put on a show getting lots of air, throwing lots of dirt, and making lots of noise!
