T-MAXX ROCKS KENTUCKY SPEEDWAY!

SPARTA, KENTUCKY (October 12, 2007) - The Traxxas T-Maxx driven by Jon Zimmer of Arlington, Vermont, invaded the beautiful Kentucky Speedway for another weekend of monster truck racing on the Major League of Monster Trucks Tour featuring The Next Generation of Monster Trucks. The MLMT event was comprised of undoubtedly the strongest field of monster trucks anywhere; including Bigfoot, Avenger, Equalizer, Nitro Fish, TailGator, Raminator, and many others.

During the 3pm qualifying the pits were opened to all spectators so they could get up-close and personal with the crews and drivers including Jon Zimmer and the Traxxas T-Maxx crew. T-Maxx qualified for a pairing in the first round against Dawn Creten in Scarlet Bandit. After a stellar introduction produced by the MLMT crew, it was down to business on the awesome track. The track consisted of a big dirt roller, a no-mans land, a large dirt jump, another no-mans land, a big roller over a school bus, another no-mans land, a sharp right turn, a car roller, and a sharp left turn that was followed by a straightaway into an enormous final jump over four cars. In the first round of qualifying T-Maxx took down the hard-charging Scarlet Bandit to advance into the second round. In the next round T-Maxx put forth a hard-charging effort, but came up short in a close race with Gun Slinger.

In freestyle, T-Maxx took to the track early and posted a good score after sending 12,000 fans cheering during a run filled with big air, donuts, slap wheelies, and mega-air from high speed launches off of the bus stacks and dirt jumps.
